Calimaco is currently in rehab due to a hoof injury. He arrived at RVR in 2018 after retiring from the track. After completing rehab, he was adopted out, but returned to us due to an unfortunate family circumstance. Calimaco entered back into our rehab program as he had been diagnosed with anhidrosis and ulcers. He is currently receiving acupuncture treatment to assist with his anhidrosis and received medication to address his ulcers. Calimaco is a super sweet boy that will be looking for his new forever home upon completion of his treatment program. His new home will require lots of shade.
