Sponsoring a horse is a monthly donation of any dollar value you choose and may be ended any time you choose! There’s no minimum contribution and NO COMMITMENT!
You can specify the horse of your choice when you sign up for sponsorship.

Our Amazon Wish List includes items we currently need to help the horses or run the ranch. Shopping this way allows you to decide exactly how your donation dollars are spent! You shop and the items ship directly to us!
Become an Angel
Our Small Grant Angel Program is a critical outreach program to help local horse owners in short-term crisis care for their horses to prevent neglect. Your funding of this program allows us to help more neighbors in need.
Bequest
Donations made to RVR Horse Rescue either through bequest in your will or through donations made on behalf of a deceased loved one are tax-deductable ways to bring honor to a loved one while helping horses at the same time.

Volunteer
Our barn is run off the muscle and compassion of dedicated volunteers. Volunteering is a great free way to get involved and help horses in need! We need volunteers on morning and late afternoon/early evening shifts each day.
Bring Your Group
We love hosting work parties, whether it be school students, youth groups, or company volunteering groups! Come on out and enjoy a few hours working on a project at the barn. You get fresh air, camaraderie, a chance to work your muscles, and an opportunity to see what we do and see the horses. With any luck, Stormy, our mini donkey, will greet you as you work. Celebrate!
Charitable celebrations are a great way to celebrate and help horses at the same time. Why not make RVR Horse Rescue the recipient in place of your birthday gifts or for your holiday gift exchange? Sometimes adults (and children) want to raise money for a good cause. Maybe hosting a horse-themed birthday party and asking for donations to RVR or for items from our Amazon Wish List instead of gifts would be a memorable and powerful way to make a difference.
