Thankful for You – Thanksgiving 2024
On this special day of Thanksgiving, it’s a perfect time to express our genuine and heartfelt gratitude to our entire village who pulls together to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome our horses in need.
This includes our email and social media followers, generous donors, equine advocates, veterinarians, farrier, the people who made the hard decision to surrender their horses, and the adopters who offer forever homes of love, compassion, and a fresh start. Perhaps the most valuable players, who make our mission possible on a daily basis, are our amazing volunteers – some of whom are feeding and caring for the horses while we’re home with our families and enjoying Thanksgiving dinner. Our barn volunteers, as well as those who work relentlessly behind the scenes to make all the rest happen, are the only reason we’re still here today.
Thank you to all those who stood by us during our transition to new location and especially to our founder, Shawn Jayroe, for setting an amazing foundation for an incredible horse rescue.

In all, you helped us raise $4,766. It will go a long way in providing care for our horses and covering part of the cost of the shelters we are having installed. Your generosity makes a difference!
