At RVR Horse Rescue, we offer a unique opportunity for youth to camp at the ranch. Each group must be accompanied by at least one adult.

The camping groups may also involve time completing community service hours at the ranch. Although this isn’t a requirement, it’s very appreciated!

Our camping area is cleared for tents and includes a fire pit. One bathroom is available to the campers. No showers. Our open pole barn provides dry shelter, if needed.

We typically provide a tour of the ranch for our campers and sometimes offer controlled interaction with the horses, depending on our volunteer’s availability.

For scout troops, we are able to provide the theoretical part of the horsemanship merit badge but not the riding part. This needs to be requested and coordinated before scheduling dates.

Every person who visits the ranch is required to complete and sign our Liability Release Form.
